Description

Global Cam & Groove Type F Adapter x Male NPT

Global Cam & Groove Type F Adapters provide a fast and dependable method for connecting hoses and piping systems using the industry-standard cam and groove connection. Featuring a male cam adapter on one end and male NPT threads on the other, these fittings allow for quick installation and removal without the need for tools.

Designed for compatibility with matching cam and groove couplers, Type F adapters are commonly used in industrial, agricultural, petroleum, chemical, and water transfer applications where rapid hose changes are required.

Key Features

  • Type F cam and groove adapter
  • Male camlock x Male NPT (National Pipe Thread)
  • Quick connect and disconnect design
  • No tools required for coupling or uncoupling
  • Compatible with standard Type B, C, and D camlock couplers of the same size
  • Designed for industrial fluid transfer applications
  • Provides a secure, leak-resistant connection when properly installed

Construction Details

To make a connection, simply insert the Type F adapter into the matching cam and groove coupler and press both cam arms downward using normal hand pressure until fully locked.

Disconnecting is equally simple—raise the cam levers and remove the adapter without special tools, making routine hose changes quick and efficient.

The male NPT threaded connection provides compatibility with a wide range of threaded piping and equipment.

Important Notes

Under no circumstances should cam and groove couplings be used for compressed air or steam service.

Always verify compatibility of coupling size, material, gasket, and operating conditions before installation.

Inspect cam arms and sealing surfaces regularly to ensure safe, leak-free operation.
