The YS81-CS is designed for higher-pressure piping where a rugged carbon steel body and Class 600 rating are required. Process flow passes through the internal straining element, which retains debris before it can reach sensitive downstream equipment. Routine inspection and cleaning of the straining element helps maintain flow and control pressure loss across the strainer.
