How a Class 300 Y Strainer Works
Process flow passes through the internal cylindrical straining element, where debris is captured before it can reach downstream equipment. The Y-shaped body provides a collection area for solids and access to the straining element for routine inspection and cleaning.
Titan equips this series with inlet and outlet gauge taps on applicable sizes so differential pressure can be monitored as the straining element loads. A tapped blow-off connection can also be fitted with a blow-down valve to assist with cleaning.
