4" 6200XD Tall Fuel Drop Elbow

The 6200XD uses the tall 6200-Series body configuration with a published overall height of 21". This extended geometry provides more vertical reach than the standard-height 6200-Series elbows used in lower-clearance installations.

Dixon lists 13-3/4" of ground clearance for the tall configuration. Available space around the fill point, pavement surface, vehicle, and surrounding equipment should be checked before the elbow is placed into service.

The 6200XD is specifically supplied with a 4" coupler inlet, distinguishing it from other tall 6200-Series variants with adapter inlets, 3" couplers, or no inlet connection. This configuration provides a ready connection point for compatible 4" delivery hose equipment.

Confirm the required inlet style before ordering because several 6200-Series elbows use the same tall body dimensions. Selecting the correct suffix helps ensure the elbow matches the existing transfer-hose connection.

Dixon manufactures the 6200-Series with cast aluminum modular construction. The handle and cam arms are brass, the inlet-end bolts are stainless steel, and the elbow incorporates a nitrile rubber gasket.

The modular arrangement supports inspection and maintenance of individual components rather than treating the elbow as one non-serviceable assembly. Check the handle, cam arms, inlet hardware, gasket, and body condition during routine maintenance.

The 6200-Series includes an acrylic sight glass with nitrile rubber seals, allowing the operator to observe product movement through the elbow during transfer. This can help confirm flow during compatible fuel-delivery operations.

Dixon lists the 6200XD for gasoline and diesel service, including fuel blends up to E100 and B20 biofuels. The complete hose, coupler, seals, underground adapter, and connected equipment should also be verified for compatibility with the intended product.
