4" 6200D Side Lever Type Drop Elbow

The 6200D uses Dixon's standard-height 6200-Series body with a published overall height of 17-3/4". This configuration provides the operating geometry used for typical fuel-delivery connections where the taller extended-body version is not required.

Dixon lists 10-7/8" of ground clearance for this model. Available clearance around the underground fill point should be checked so the elbow can be positioned and operated without interference from pavement or surrounding equipment.

The 6200D is specifically supplied with a 4" coupler inlet. This distinguishes it from the 6200A with a 4" adapter inlet, the 6200B with a 3" coupler inlet, and the basic 6200 elbow supplied without an inlet connection.

Matching the correct inlet style is important when replacing an existing elbow because the different 6200-Series configurations share similar body geometry. Confirm the hose-side connection before ordering rather than selecting by elbow size alone.

Dixon uses cast aluminum modular construction for the 6200-Series elbow body. The operating handle and cam arms are brass, while stainless-steel bolts are used at the inlet end.

This mix of materials supports a serviceable assembly with distinct structural and moving components. During maintenance, inspect the handle, cam arms, inlet hardware, pivot areas, and aluminum body for wear, damage, or restricted movement.

The 6200D incorporates an acrylic sight glass with nitrile rubber seals, allowing the operator to visually observe the product path through the elbow during transfer. A nitrile rubber gasket is also used in the coupling assembly.

Inspect the sight glass for clouding, cracks, or damage and check the nitrile sealing components for deterioration before service. Seals that are cut, hardened, swollen, or otherwise compromised should be addressed before product transfer begins.
