Construction Details
The Type DC dust cap features an aluminum body with a female cam & groove connection and two cam arms.
The female camlock opening fits over a compatible male cam & groove adapter. Closing both cam arms draws the cap into position and secures it to the mating adapter.
Unlike Type A through Type F camlock fittings, the Type DC is a closed-end component. It is intended to cover an unused male camlock connection rather than provide a flow path between two connections.

Closed Dust Cap

How a Type DC Dust Cap Works
To install the dust cap, position the female camlock opening over a compatible male cam & groove adapter.
Close both cam arms using normal hand pressure to secure the dust cap onto the mating adapter.
To remove the cap, make sure the system is in a safe condition, raise both cam arms, and pull the dust cap away from the male adapter.
