The Type DC fitting features a durable stainless steel dust-cap body with a female cam & groove connection and operating cam arms.
The female opening fits over a compatible male camlock adapter. Closing the cam arms secures the dust cap onto the adapter and helps protect the exposed connection while the hose, piping, pump, tank, or other equipment is disconnected.

How a Type DC Dust Cap Works

When the connection is needed again, open the cam arms and remove the dust cap before connecting the appropriate female cam & groove coupler.
