Choose the Correct Fit
Check the cable type, layer size and connector preparation requirements before choosing the tool or setting.
Use the correct opening or cartridge side; for an adjustable blade, begin with a conservative depth and test on a spare end.
Installation & Care
Inspect the exposed layer for damage before proceeding. Follow the cable manufacturer’s handling and disposal procedure.
Keep the cutting area clean and close the storage lock where fitted. Replace damaged blades or notches rather than forcing the cable.

Important Product Questions
Can I strip a different cable of the same diameter?
Diameter alone does not establish suitability. Match the cable construction, layer and material to the tool’s stated application.
Can I change the stripping notch sizes?
The openings are factory-set for the stated jacket, buffer and coating sizes. Use a different suitable stripper when the layer does not match.
What if the conductor or fiber is nicked?
Stop and reprepare an undamaged section according to the cable and termination instructions. Do not hide or reuse a damaged portion inside a connector.
