Choose the Correct Fit
Match the connector style and cable before starting. Disconnect the cable from powered equipment and follow the connector manufacturer’s preparation instructions.
Cut and strip only the required length without nicking conductors. Arrange and insert them fully before placing the connector in the correct nest.
Installation & Care
Complete the ratchet cycle for each termination. If a fault occurs, use the release mechanism and inspect the cable and plug before trying again.
Keep cutting edges and nests clean. Test the finished connection with an appropriate cable tester and replace damaged blades or an impaired tool.

Important Product Questions
Can I crimp any RJ45 plug?
This model is specified for standard modular RJ45 connectors. Choose a pass-through crimper when the plug requires excess conductors to be trimmed at its front.
Does a completed ratchet cycle prove the cable is good?
No. The cycle completes compression, but it does not check wiring order, continuity or network performance. Inspect and test every finished cable.
Which smaller connectors can it handle?
RJ22 and RJ11/RJ12 modular connectors are specified. Match the actual plug construction and conductor arrangement before crimping.
