Product Overview
An adjustable collet grips tap shanks. The knurled collar helps tighten it by hand.
A sliding T-handle changes leverage; the hex head also fits the separate Hex-LOK 2-in-1 handle.

Choose the Correct Fit
Match the tap shank and size to the collet. Use the correct pilot hole and threading lubricant for the material and tap.
Seat the tap straight and tighten the collet securely. Start the thread square to the hole to reduce the risk of cross-threading.
Installation & Care
Slide the T-handle to obtain clearance and leverage without losing control. Follow the tap’s chip-clearing and reversal procedure.
Clean chips from the jaws and collar after use. Inspect the tap and collet for damage before storing them.
