Choose the Correct Fit
Select the head that seats securely on the workpiece, allowing space for the handles and surrounding obstructions.
Check cutting material and diameter limits for the diagonal plier before use. Tool length alone does not establish cutting capacity.
Installation & Care
De-energize electrical work before handling or cutting wire. Comfort grips do not establish an electrical-insulation rating.
Keep gripping faces and cutting edges clean. Inspect the pivot and stop using a tool that binds, slips or has damaged edges.

Important Product Questions
Which tool should I use in a narrow opening?
The 8-inch long-nose plier has a 2-inch gripping nose for restricted access. Check that the nose and handle travel clear the opening before applying force.
Does the kit include a 7-inch or 8-inch diagonal cutter?
The exact kit contents identify the 7-inch diagonal cutter, 48-22-6107. The other two tools are the 8-inch long-nose and 10-inch straight-jaw pliers.
Can the comfort grips be used for live electrical work?
No electrical-insulation rating is established by these grips. Isolate and verify the circuit, and use equipment required by the electrical work procedure.
