Construction Details

Female NPT

How a Type A Camlock Works
Install the female NPT end onto the appropriate male threaded connection using a thread-sealing method suitable for polypropylene fittings and the intended service.
To make the camlock connection, insert the Type A male adapter into a compatible female cam & groove coupler. Close the cam arms on the mating female coupler using normal hand pressure to secure the connection.
For disconnection, safely depressurize and drain the system as appropriate, open the cam arms on the mating female coupler, and remove the Type A adapter.
