The PrevoS1 safety system provides a controlled compressed-air disconnection sequence. Instead of immediately releasing a pressurized mating plug, the coupling first decompresses the downstream air line.

After downstream pressure is relieved, the mating plug can be released. This helps reduce sudden hose movement and hose-whip hazards associated with disconnecting pressurized pneumatic equipment.
