Choose the Correct Fit
Seat the heel against a clean, straight reference edge and choose the scale appropriate to the layout. Clear chips or burrs that could keep the square from sitting flat.
Use the scribe notches to guide repeatable offset marks. The pipe cutout is a layout aid, not a clamp; support the work securely before cutting.
Installation & Care
Wipe the body and reference edges clean and avoid dropping or bending the square. Check it against a known square reference if an impact may have affected alignment.
