Choose the Correct Fit

Choose the 15/16-inch diameter and use quick-change arbor 49-57-0035. Confirm the arbor is suitable for your drill before installing.

Use hand-held operation only through material up to 3/8 inch thick. Milwaukee recommends a drill press above 3/8 inch through the 1/2-inch depth limit.

Installation & Care

For cuts deeper than 1/4 inch, Milwaukee specifies Hawg Wash cutting fluid. Follow the cutter and machine instructions for speed and feed.

Clamp the material and keep the cutter square. Stop the machine before removing the slug or clearing swarf.

Important Product Questions

Can I use a nearby arbor that appears to fit?

Verify the exact interface and the machine/arbor combination. Secure engagement, cutter depth and pilot-pin travel must all suit the setup; appearance alone is not enough.

Can I cut past the stated depth?

No. Choose a cutter with sufficient working depth for the stock. Do not force the body or shoulder beyond its designed cutting range.

How do I select the finished hole size?

Choose the actual required hole diameter. A bolt, pipe or fitting’s nominal size may require a different clearance opening; check the drawing or fitting instructions.
