ARGCO’s Model 502 Galvanized Fire Outlet Tee Threaded is a mechanical outlet fitting designed to provide a direct branch connection at any location along a pipe where a hole can be cut or drilled. This fitting offers a fast, efficient solution for adding outlets without welding.
Featuring a female threaded outlet, the Model 502 is ideal for connecting sprinkler heads, drop nipples, sprigs, gauges, drains, and other outlet devices. Its design ensures full bore flow and dependable performance in fire protection and general piping systems.

Construction Details
Manufactured from ductile iron conforming to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 for durability and long-term performance. The standard finish is hot dipped galvanized, with optional orange enamel available.
Includes a Grade E EPDM (Type A) gasket for effective sealing. Carbon steel bolts and nuts are zinc electroplated, with optional stainless steel hardware available for enhanced corrosion resistance.
Important Notes
Installation requires cutting or drilling a hole in the pipe (typically 1-3/16" hole size). Ensure proper alignment and tightening according to recommended torque values. Always follow ARGCO installation instructions and applicable code requirements.
