ARGCO’s Model 402 Mechanical Tee (Groove) is a fast and efficient fitting designed to create a mid-pipe grooved branch outlet without the need for welding. This fitting allows for quick installation by cutting or drilling a hole at the desired location and securing the tee with a bolted housing assembly.
Constructed with ductile iron housings, a Grade E EPDM gasket, and heat-treated carbon steel track bolts and nuts, the Model 402 provides a durable and reliable solution for fire protection and general piping systems requiring grooved branch connections.

Construction Details

The assembly includes heat-treated carbon steel track bolts and nuts, zinc electroplated for corrosion resistance, with optional stainless steel hardware available for demanding environments.
