Galvanized Grooved Mechanical Tee
ARGCO’s Model 402 grooved mechanical tee provides a fast and easy mid-pipe grooved branch outlet for carbon steel piping systems. It utilizes ductile iron housings, a Grade E EPDM gasket, and heat-treated carbon steel track bolts and nuts.
This galvanized configuration features a hot dipped galvanized housing coating and is designed for Schedule 10 and Schedule 40 carbon steel pipe, with maximum working pressure up to 300 psi (20 bar).

Construction Details
Housing sections are manufactured from ductile iron conforming to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 for strength and durability.
This version is finished with a hot dipped galvanized coating for corrosion resistance.
Standard gasket is Grade E EPDM (Type A).
Standard bolts and nuts are carbon steel, with bolts meeting ASTM A449 and ISO 898-1, hex nuts meeting ASTM A563 Grade B, and zinc electroplated finish per ASTM B633 NZ/FE5 Type III.
