Description

Harris ER347 Stainless Steel TIG Welding Rod

Harris ER347 stainless steel TIG welding rod is a niobium-stabilized stainless filler metal designed for GTAW / TIG welding of Type 347, Type 321 and similar stabilized stainless steels. The niobium, historically called columbium, helps increase resistance to intergranular corrosion in appropriate stainless steel applications.

Select the required rod diameter from the product options above. All available variations are 36" long and supplied in 10 lb Boxes. The selected variation determines the Harris item number, selling price, package weight and cost.

Why Choose ER347?

Niobium-Stabilized Alloy

ER347 contains niobium, historically referred to as columbium, which stabilizes the stainless alloy and helps increase resistance to intergranular corrosion.

Designed for 347 & 321 Stainless

ER347 is commonly selected for GTAW welding of Type 347, Type 321 and other compatible stabilized stainless steels requiring similar weld-metal chemistry.

Product Selection Considerations

Rod Diameter

Select the rod diameter appropriate for material thickness, joint configuration, welding position, amperage and the applicable welding procedure.

Base-Metal Compatibility

Confirm ER347 filler-metal compatibility with the stainless alloys being joined, service temperature, corrosion environment and applicable welding specification before use.
