Galvanized U-Bolt Mechanical Tee
ARGCO’s Model 501 U-Bolt Mechanical Tee is designed to provide a fast and efficient outlet connection without the need for welding. Simply cut or drill a hole at the desired outlet location, position the fitting with the locating collar, and secure using the U-bolt and nuts for a reliable mechanical connection.
This fitting allows full bore flow and is ideal for sprinkler systems, gauges, and drop connections. Designed for use with Schedule 10 and Schedule 40 carbon steel pipe, it supports working pressures up to 365 psi (2517 kPa).

Typical Applications

Construction Details
Housing is manufactured from ductile iron conforming to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 for durability and strength in piping systems.
Standard gasket is Grade E EPDM (Type A), suitable for water and oil-free air service.
Standard bolts and nuts are carbon steel meeting ASTM A449 and ASTM A563 Grade B, with zinc electroplated finish per ASTM B633 Type III.

Proper hole size and installation torque must be followed to ensure a secure and leak-free connection.
