ASC Figure 10NN AWWA Gate Valve with Operating Nut is a resilient wedge gate valve with IPS threaded end connections for dependable isolation service in compatible water-distribution and utility piping systems.

The valve features a ductile iron body and bonnet, 304 stainless steel non-rising stem, operating nut, resilient wedge, and fusion-bonded epoxy coating. Figure 10NN is rated for 250 PSI non-shock cold working pressure and meets AWWA C515 requirements.

Construction Details

Figure 10NN uses a ductile iron ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 body, bonnet, packing gland, operating nut, and resilient wedge. The wedge incorporates Buna-N sealing material.

The valve includes a 304 stainless steel non-rising stem, bronze ASTM B584 C83600 wedge nut, Buna-N stem wiper, gasket and O-rings, and 304 stainless steel bonnet hardware.

Wax-encapsulated cap screws and a fusion-bonded epoxy coating provide added protection for demanding waterworks and utility installations.
