4" Aluminum Cam & Groove Type B Coupler x Male NPT

The Dixon 400-B-AL combines a 4" female cam and groove coupler with a 4" male NPT connection in a single Type B fitting. This configuration provides a direct transition between compatible male cam and groove adapters and female NPT piping or equipment.

The 400-B-AL is manufactured from 356T6 aluminum for compatible liquid-transfer applications. The aluminum body is precision machined to rigid tolerances and paired with stainless steel cam-arm pins for dependable repeated connection and disconnection.

Inspect the fitting body, cam arms, pins, threads, and sealing surfaces before installation. Damage, deformation, contamination, or excessive wear should be addressed before the coupling is placed into service.

The female coupler is supplied with a nitrile rubber gasket retained within the gasket recess for proper placement. The gasket seals against the mating male adapter while the cam arms secure the connected components using normal hand pressure.

Inspect the gasket for cuts, flattening, hardening, swelling, or contamination before each installation. Confirm nitrile compatibility with the transferred liquid and replace damaged or deteriorated seals before returning the coupling to service.

Dixon rates the fitting to a maximum operating pressure of 100 PSI under its stated conditions. The coupling is designed for liquid service and must not be used for compressed air or steam applications.
