The bushing is manufactured from high-quality Schedule 40 PVC for resistance to corrosion, chemical exposure, scaling, and environmental conditions commonly encountered in compatible cold-water pressure systems.

The spigot x socket design allows the fitting to install directly into a larger socket while accepting a smaller PVC pipe, creating a compact size transition without requiring a full reducing coupling.

Its smooth internal transition helps support efficient flow while maintaining compatibility with standard Schedule 40 PVC solvent-weld piping systems.

Verify both nominal connection sizes before installation. Confirm that the spigot size matches the receiving socket fitting and that the socket size matches the intended Schedule 40 PVC pipe.

Clean and prepare all mating PVC surfaces according to accepted solvent-weld procedures. Apply compatible PVC primer and solvent cement where required, then fully seat the spigot end into the mating socket fitting and the pipe into the bushing socket.

Confirm the fitting orientation before the solvent cement begins to set. Allow completed joints to cure according to the cement manufacturer's recommendations before pressurizing or placing the system into normal service.
