Choose the Correct Fit
Select a 7/16 in hex head and seat the driver fully over it. Clear paint or debris that prevents contact with the flats.
Secure the shank in a compatible impact driver or drill driver. Keep the tool aligned with the fastener rather than pushing sideways.
Installation & Care
Begin slowly so the screw enters straight. Follow the fastener or assembly torque requirement rather than relying on the impact setting alone.
Remove collected metal chips from the magnet with the tool stopped. Inspect the hex opening and shank for wear or damage before reuse.

Important Product Questions
Can I substitute a nearby metric or SAE size?
Use the specified 7/16 in size. A near match can rock on the fastener and round its corners, especially under impact load.
Will the magnet hold every screw?
Magnetic retention depends on the fastener material and clean contact. Test the hold before positioning the screw, particularly when working overhead.
Will this work over a long exposed stud?
Check the nut-driver recess against the stud projection before choosing it. This product is not identified as a through-shaft hand nut driver.
