Product Overview

Match the T20 Torx tip to the screw recess; screw diameter alone does not identify the bit.

The 2 in length helps you plan access to the screw; allow space for the tool nose as well.

Choose the Correct Fit

Match the T20 Torx tip to the screw recess. Clean out paint, dirt or metal chips so the bit can seat fully.

Check the tool’s chuck or bit holder accepts and securely retains this bit. Keep the bit straight in line with the screw.

Installation & Care

Allow room for the 2 in bit and the tool nose. Start slowly, then use only the force needed to seat the fastener.

Inspect the tip between tasks. Replace a rounded, cracked or twisted bit; increasing pressure will not restore its fit.

Important Product Questions

Can I substitute another tip profile?

Choose the specified Torx profile and T20 size. A different recess shape or a nearby size may appear to engage but can slip and damage the screw.

What if the bit slips under load?

Stop and check the screw recess, tip condition and tool alignment. A damaged recess or wrong fit can cause slipping; forcing it may make removal harder.

Does impact duty set the screw torque?

No. Follow the torque requirement for the fastener and assembly. An impact-rated bit does not limit torque or prevent damage from overtightening.
