Choose the Correct Fit

Use the anchor maker’s specified hole diameter and depth. Do not substitute a nearby size for a required fit.

Check for concealed services before drilling and arrange the dust-control system required for the work.

Installation & Care

Isolate the hammer before changing bits. Follow its chuck instructions and check that the shank is retained.

Let the bit cool before handling it. Clean the shank and inspect the cutting head before storing the bit.

Important Product Questions

Does overall length equal available drilling depth?

No. Overall length includes the shank. Check usable length and the anchor’s required depth before choosing the bit.

Can I keep drilling if I encounter reinforcement?

Rebar guards do not authorize cutting structural reinforcement. Stop and confirm the permitted hole location before continuing.

When should an anchor-drilling bit be replaced?

Check the wear indicator. It shows when the bit no longer meets the ANSI diameter requirement; replace worn or damaged bits.
