Choose the Correct Fit
Confirm the hammer type and 5 in core capacity. Use adapter 48-03-3564 or 48-03-3565 or 48-03-3572 or 48-03-3573.
Match the opening and wall thickness to the job. For extra reach, use extension 48-95-6085 and plan to clear the center core between cuts.
Installation & Care
Isolate the hammer before assembling the core bit. Fit guide plate 48-20-5175 with centering pin 48-20-5199 for the starting operation.
After establishing the starting groove, follow the instructions for removing the guide components where fitted. Keep the cutting rim clear and inspect it for damage.

Important Product Questions
Will the core body attach directly to my hammer?
This is a two-piece system. Use the matching adapter shank for the hammer connection and this core-body size; the core body alone does not provide that connection.
Does adding an extension increase the core body’s cutting depth?
The body’s usable cutting depth remains 4-1/16 in. An extension adds reach; deeper drilling still requires removal of the inside core.
Which guide components match this diameter?
Use guide plate 48-20-5175 and centering pin 48-20-5199 for this 5 in core. Follow the starting and removal procedure before continuing the hole.
