Choose the Correct Fit
Match the saw’s thread and diameter to this large arbor. It is intended for compatible threaded diamond saws, not one-piece hex-shank bits.
Follow the starter’s setup instructions to mark the center. Support the material and avoid forcing the carbide point into a fragile surface.
Installation & Care
Use the drill mode, speed and cooling method required by the diamond saw. Do not infer hammer or impact suitability from the arbor.
Isolate the drill before changing saws. Clean the mechanism and check that the starter retracts freely before use.

Important Product Questions
Does it fit a one-piece diamond hole-saw bit?
No. This is an arbor for compatible threaded diamond hole saws. A one-piece bit with its own hex shank does not attach to it.
Do I drill a separate pilot hole first?
No pilot-hole drilling is required for the specified starter method. Follow the instructions to make a centering divot before the saw begins cutting.
What connections should I check?
The arbor has a 5/8 in–18 saw connection and a 3/8 in shank. It is specified for compatible hole saws 1-1/4 in and larger.
