Choose the Correct Fit
Match the wheel diameter, mounting and speed rating to the tool. Use a guard sized for that wheel and approved for the operation.
The supplied Type 1 clip-on guard is required with Type 1 wheels. Check accessory clearance with the side handle installed.
Installation & Care
Remove the battery before changing accessories or guards. Check wheel condition and flange seating before reconnecting power.
Keep vents clear and use both hands. Wait for complete accessory stop before setting the tool down, even with the brake engaged.

Important Product Questions
Does this include a battery and charger?
No. Model 2880-20 is a tool-only configuration. Use a compatible M18 battery and charger, supplied separately.
Can a cut-off wheel be used for side grinding?
No. A cut-off wheel is intended to cut with its edge; side loading can cause it to shatter. Use a suitable grinding wheel instead.
What if the brake stops working consistently?
Have the tool serviced by an authorized Milwaukee service facility. Do not rely on an inconsistent brake or set the tool down while the accessory is rotating.
