Choose the Correct Fit
Match the hardware size and shape to the correct socket. Square and twelve-point openings are not interchangeable just because their labels are close.
Check engagement and ratchet direction before applying a controlled pull. Leave clearance for your hand and for removing the wrench after loosening hardware.
Installation & Care
Use only the dedicated strike face for hammering. Wear appropriate eye protection and inspect both the face and the hardware before striking.
Keep the sockets and mechanism clean and dry. Inspect for cracks, worn openings or unreliable ratchet engagement and remove a damaged tool from service.

Important Product Questions
Does the name mean it is insulated?
No insulation rating is specified for this model. Do not treat a lineman’s wrench or its handle finish as electrical protection.
Will it fit my utility hardware?
Check the actual size and head shape against 3/4, 1, 1-1/8 in square plus 9/16 and 3/4 in 12-point. A matching measurement alone is not enough when the socket geometry differs.
Can I use it as a torque-measuring tool?
Use a suitable torque wrench for a required tightening value. Ratcheting action and leverage do not provide a torque reading.
