Choose the Correct Fit

Match the lock-on to the MX FUEL handheld core drill and follow the drill’s stand-coring procedure. Secure and adjust the drill stand before using a maintained trigger.

Remove the battery and fit the lock-on without engaging the trigger. Check that the lever moves freely and can release the trigger before restoring power.

Installation & Care

Once the rig is secured and ready, arm the drill and pull the trigger, then rotate the lock-on to hold it. Stay at the controls and monitor the cut throughout drilling.

Rotate the lock-on out to release the trigger and wait for the bit to stop. Unarm the drill and remove the battery before changing accessories or adjusting the rig.

Important Product Questions

Is this the safety switch that prevents the trigger from operating?

This accessory holds the trigger on for stand-mounted coring. The drill’s built-in trigger lock-off is a separate control.

When should I install it?

With the battery removed, after mounting and securing the drill for stand operation. Fit it without engaging the trigger and check release before starting.

How do I stop the drill while the lock-on is engaged?

Rotate the lock-on out to disengage the trigger, then wait for the bit to stop completely. Follow the drill manual’s shutdown and unarming steps.
