Choose the Correct Fit

Confirm that the hammer uses a spline holder and the bit has a A-taper shank. Other taper and SDS connections require their own matching adapters.

Disconnect power or remove the battery before fitting. Clean the tool holder and taper surfaces and follow the hammer’s shank-care instructions.

Installation & Care

Seat and retain the adapter according to the hammer manual, then check the bit is secure. Work within the hammer and bit limits for the selected drilling task.

Use the specified drift pin to release the taper bit according to the accessory instructions. Inspect the shank, taper seat and release opening for damage before reuse.

Important Product Questions

Does this adapter fit an SDS holder?

The tool-side shank is spline. Use the adapter specifically matched to an SDS holder instead of assuming the connections interchange.

Can I fit the other taper size?

This adapter accepts A-taper bits. Check the bit shank designation; A-taper and B-taper selections are separate.

Which drift pin is specified for releasing the bit?

The specified drift pin is 48-86-0120. Follow the accessory instructions, disconnect power and support the assembly before releasing the taper.
