Choose the Correct Fit

Choose this blade for pruning and clean wood. Check branches for wire, nails and other hidden objects before cutting.

Use the 9 in length only where the tip clears the far side through the complete stroke. Support limbs so they do not trap the blade.

Installation & Care

Disconnect power before changing blades. Follow the saw’s clamp instructions and check that the blade is secure.

Let the blade cool before handling. Clear debris and replace blades with cracks, bends or damaged cutting edges.

Important Product Questions

Does the blade cut on both strokes?

Yes. Its fleam-ground teeth are designed to cut in both directions. Keep the saw shoe properly supported and follow the saw’s operating instructions.

Is this the carbide root-removal version?

No. This is the steel, fleam-ground pruning blade. Select the AX carbide pruning version when the job calls for cutting roots in abrasive soil.

How much cutting depth does the blade length allow?

Nominal blade length is not a cutting-depth rating. Choose enough reach to extend beyond the work through the full saw stroke, and leave clearance behind it.
