Use a wire material suitable for the workpiece. For stainless surfaces, prevent contamination from brushes previously used on carbon steel.

Important Product Questions
Can I fit it to any 5/8-11 grinder?
Check more than the thread: the guard, brush clearance and tool speed must also be suitable. This brush is rated at 12,000 RPM maximum.
How do crimped and knotted brushes differ?
Crimped wire is more flexible for lighter cleaning and contours. Knotted wire is more aggressive for heavier contamination and rougher preparation.
Can I use one brush on steel and stainless?
Avoid cross-contamination. Dedicate an appropriate stainless-steel brush to stainless work and keep it separate from brushes used on carbon steel.
