Choose the Correct Fit
Check the path for wiring, pipe and structural hardware. Nail resistance does not make concealed objects safe to drill.
Confirm the shank fit and the tool’s wood-boring capacity. Secure the bit and brace the tool for the self-feeding pull.
Installation & Care
Withdraw as needed to clear chips from deep holes. Stop and disconnect the tool before freeing a bit that has bound.
Let the bit cool before cleaning. Inspect the feed screw and cutting face, especially after striking embedded nails.

Important Product Questions
Can it be used in wood containing nails?
Yes. Its hardened cutting face and through-center geometry are designed for nail-embedded wood as well as clean wood.
Is the full bit length usable drilling depth?
No. Overall length includes the shank. Check the exposed cutting reach after the bit is installed.
Can I use it with an impact wrench?
The shank is impact rated. Confirm the wrench’s connection, any required adapter and permitted drilling capacity before use.
