Choose the Correct Fit

Match the 1/2 in drive to the ratchet and socket. Check the available space for the complete assembly.

Engage the locking collar and test the socket retention before putting it into a recessed location.

Installation & Care

Use the shortest reach that suits the work. Start fasteners gently and stop if the thread or socket does not engage cleanly.

Remove oil and grit after use. Inspect the connection corners and moving parts, then store the accessory dry.

Important Product Questions

What does the locking collar do?

It helps keep the socket on the extension while you position or withdraw the assembly. Check engagement before moving the socket into a recess.

Does the collar lock it to the ratchet?

The socket is retained by the collar. The ratchet side uses a detent hole, so check the ratchet’s retention mechanism separately.

Can I use it with an impact wrench?

Use a specifically impact-rated extension for impact applications. A locking collar does not establish an impact rating.
