Choose the Correct Fit
Confirm the exact shank profile and retention system with the hammer manual. A nominal hex dimension alone does not establish compatibility.
Locate buried utilities and establish a safe work area before cutting pavement. Follow the site’s excavation and service-clearance procedures.
Installation & Care
Install and retain the chisel according to the hammer instructions. Use the specified personal protection and control flying fragments.
Inspect the edge, shank and retaining area before use. Stop if the accessory is cracked, deformed or no longer retained securely.

Important Product Questions
Will it fit every 1-1/8-inch hex hammer?
Check the complete interface. This cutter uses a collared hex shank with a notch, so the hammer’s holder and retainer must accept that form.
Can I use its asphalt rating as a concrete rating?
No. The stated application is asphalt. Choose an accessory approved for the actual material and hammer rather than extending the application by assumption.
Does the 5-inch width indicate cutting depth?
No. It describes the working-edge width. The 17-1/2-inch figure is overall accessory length, not a guaranteed pavement cutting depth.
