The Charman Inc SP112 hex bushing is a 316 stainless steel reducing fitting with external male threads on the larger connection and internal female threads on the smaller connection. It installs into a compatible female-threaded opening and provides a smaller female-threaded connection for the next piping component.

The hex-shaped body provides wrenching surfaces that help with installation and removal while keeping the overall reducing connection compact.

The first dimension represents the larger male threaded connection and the second dimension represents the smaller female threaded connection.

• 1/2" x 1/4" uses a 1/2" male connection and provides a 1/4" female connection.
• 1" x 3/4" uses a 1" male connection and provides a 3/4" female connection.
• 2" x 1-1/2" uses a 2" male connection and provides a 1-1/2" female connection.

A hex bushing uses a larger male threaded connection and a smaller female threaded connection. It screws directly into a compatible female-threaded opening to reduce that opening to a smaller size.

A reducing coupling uses female threaded connections at both ends and joins two compatible male-threaded components of different nominal sizes. Select the fitting style that matches the thread orientation of the components being connected.
