Construction Details
The Series SC301 uses a three-piece ASTM A351 Grade CF8M stainless steel body with matching 316 stainless steel end caps and ball. The stem is manufactured from ASTM A276 Type 316 stainless steel.
RTFE seats provide the valve seating surfaces, while PTFE is used for the body seals, thrust washer, and stem packing. The three-piece body design allows the center section to be serviced without replacing the complete valve assembly.
A blow-out-proof stem, pressure-balancing hole in the ball slot, and locking lever handle are incorporated into the valve design. Repair kits and replacement handle options are also available.
