The hand-mixable steel-reinforced epoxy putty is pressed into cracks, holes, and damaged areas to help fill irregular surfaces before the repair bandage is wrapped around the pipe.
The fiberglass bandage is activated with fresh water and wrapped tightly around the prepared repair area to create a hardened outer reinforcement around the damaged pipe.

The Rapp-It repair bandage uses woven fiberglass impregnated with water-activated polyurethane resin. After activation, the bandage is wrapped tightly around the prepared pipe and moulded around the repair area.
The wrapped layers should be worked together while the resin begins to cure. Adequate overlap, bandage thickness, and cure time help create a firm reinforced repair around the damaged section.
Rapp-It Steel Putty is a hand-mixable epoxy repair compound used to fill cracks, holes, cavities, and irregular damaged surfaces before bandage installation. The putty is kneaded until it reaches a uniform grey appearance.
Because the putty has a short working period, surface preparation should be completed before mixing begins. Apply the mixed putty firmly into the damaged area and proceed with the repair bandage before the putty fully cures.
Rapp-It is documented for use on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, ABS, PP/HDPE, GRE, fiberglass, galvanized pipe, concrete, ceramic, clay, rubber, and other compatible substrates.
