Both PROXI hose stem plug variants use the same 1/4" Industrial quick-connect profile. The profile determines which quick coupler accepts the plug and is independent of the hose size installed on the opposite end.

The hose stem design allows these PROXI plugs to connect directly to compatible compressed-air hose. Select the variant according to the inside diameter of the hose rather than the quick-connect profile.

The Prevost Stainless Steel Hose Stem Plug - 1/4" Industrial Profile should be used with a compatible quick coupler designed for the corresponding 1/4" Industrial connection profile.

• Verify the existing coupler profile when replacing a plug
• Inspect plug and coupler mating surfaces periodically

• Step 1: Confirm that the quick coupler uses the 1/4" Industrial profile.
• Step 2: Verify the inside diameter of the compressed-air hose.
• Step 3: Select PROXI 066806 for 1/4" ID hose.
• Step 4: Select PROXI 066810 for 3/8" ID hose.
• Step 5: Confirm that the 1/4" ID passage meets the airflow requirements of the application.
• Step 6: Select a suitable hose-retention method.
• Step 7: Verify the pressure, temperature, and service limits of the complete hose assembly.

• Depressurize the compressed-air system before installing, removing, or servicing the plug.
• Confirm that the mating coupler uses the correct 1/4" Industrial profile.
