A copper tee creates a three-way connection in a copper tubing system. It is commonly used to add a branch connection to an existing or new piping run.

• Verify all required copper tube connection sizes before installation.
• Cut tubing squarely.
• Remove internal and external burrs.
• Clean the copper tube ends and fitting cups thoroughly.
• Apply joining materials appropriate for the piping application.
• Insert the tubing fully into the fitting sockets.
• Confirm the branch is correctly oriented before heating.
