Galvanized Grooved Flange Adapter

ARGCO’s Model 901 Flange Adapter is designed to provide a direct connection between grooved carbon steel piping systems and ANSI Class 125/150 flanged components. This fitting offers a practical transition point where grooved piping must interface with flanged valves, equipment, or other system components.

Available in sizes from 2" through 12", the Model 901 is intended for use with Schedule 10 and Schedule 40 carbon steel pipe and is rated for working pressures up to 250 psi / 17 bar.

Typical Applications

Construction Details

Housing sections are manufactured from ductile iron conforming to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 for strength and durability in grooved piping systems.

Standard housing coating is galvanized for corrosion resistance.

Standard bolts are carbon steel oval neck track bolts meeting ASTM A449 and ISO 898-1, with carbon steel hex nuts meeting ASTM A563 Grade B.

Standard nuts and bolts are zinc electroplated per ASTM B633 NZ/FE5, finish Type III. Optional stainless steel hardware meets ASTM F593 and ASTM F594, Group 2, condition CW, with galling-resistant coating.
