Construction Details

The FG-21 is constructed with a 3/8-inch rigid solid pultruded fiberglass rod coated with Sunguard III™ UV inhibitor to improve resistance to prolonged outdoor exposure.

Its exclusive 5-1/2 inch Bubble Style MIL SPEC medium-tension spring is manufactured from zinc-plated carbon steel for strength, flexibility, and corrosion resistance.

The flat mounting bracket is made from 3/8-inch thick MIL SPEC zinc-plated carbon steel and includes a 5/8-inch hole for direct mounting.

DOT-certified engineer grade reflective sheeting is applied in a minimum of eight alternating 6-inch red and white bands, with a safety yellow rubber protective tip and spring bonnet.
