Construction Details

The Fig. 7401SS housing is manufactured from Type 316L cast stainless steel conforming to ASTM A743/A743M. The stainless steel construction is suitable for a variety of aggressive and corrosive environments.

Stainless steel track-head bolts conform to ASTM A193M Class 2, Type 316 Grade B8M, while the heavy hex nuts conform to ASTM A194M, Type 316 Grade 8M.

The coupling provides a rigid joint by firmly gripping around the circumference of the pipe grooves. This configuration is supplied with a Grade EP EPDM gasket for compatible water and chemical services.
