5000AI Air Interlock Valve

The Dixon 5000AI uses a 1" button plunger as its mechanical actuation point. Plunger movement operates the internal pneumatic interlock mechanism when properly installed in a compatible system.

The plunger configuration distinguishes the 5000AI from roller, paddle, and larger button-plunger models in the Dixon air interlock family. Confirm the required actuation style before ordering.

The 5000AI is a pneumatic air interlock valve intended for use as part of a properly configured air-control system. Its operation can be incorporated into compatible petroleum cargo tank safety functions.

Air line routing and system configuration should follow the applicable Dixon connection and operating instructions. Confirm the complete pneumatic arrangement before placing the equipment into service.

Dixon manufactures the 5000AI with an aluminum body and Baylast™ seals. These materials are part of the standard 5000AI button-plunger pneumatic interlock configuration.

The valve is specified for temperatures from -40°F to 158°F (-40°C to 70°C). Dixon lists a maximum working pressure of 150 PSI for its standard air interlock valves.

The 5000AI is supported by dedicated replacement components and repair kits for routine service. Dixon identifies separate kits for seals, mounting hardware, and the button-plunger assembly.
