2" Stainless Steel Bayonet Dry Disconnect Adapter

Dixon designs the bayonet dry disconnect system for spill-reducing transfer of petroleum products including fuel oil, lube oil blending, and tank-truck delivery. The adapter works with a compatible coupler to control product flow during connection and disconnection.

Fluid flow cannot begin until the mating components are properly connected and the coupler valve is opened. The coupling arrangement also prevents disconnection until the valve handle has been returned to the closed position.

Both BA31-200 and BA32-200 use stainless steel body construction for the 2" adapter. This provides a durable connection option for compatible petroleum transfer equipment and demanding service environments.

The adapter also incorporates a brass poppet valve as specified by Dixon. Inspect the body, poppet, threads, and sealing surfaces before installation or reuse.

Dixon offers the 2" stainless steel adapter as BA31-200 with Nitrile Rubber seals and BA32-200 with FKM seals. The correct seal option should be selected according to the transferred product and service conditions.

Do not select the seal material based on adapter size alone. Confirm the exact part number and chemical compatibility for the intended media before ordering.

Dixon specifies a maximum operating pressure of 85 PSI at 70°F for these bayonet-style dry disconnect adapters. For pressure ratings at other temperatures, Dixon recommends contacting the manufacturer.

The adapter is interchangeable with compatible Emco Wheaton™ Dry Break™ equipment. Confirm mating-component compatibility, female NPT connection size, seal material, and system pressure before installation.
