Operating Specifications:

The gripping action occrs on the outside of the pipe, and
prevents slip-page and pipe pullout.
The seal is formed on the INSIDE of the pipe -- where
the surface is the smoothest. Therefore you must
chamfer the INSIDE of your pipe!!!
