Description

Domestic Carbon Steel Weld Concentric Reducer

Domestic Carbon Steel Weld Concentric Reducers are designed to provide a smooth transition between different pipe diameters while maintaining a common centerline. These fittings are commonly used in industrial processing, power generation, petrochemical, mechanical, and commercial piping systems where flow transitions and system efficiency are critical.

Produced from high-quality carbon steel and manufactured to stringent industry standards, these seamless butt weld fittings deliver dependable strength, dimensional accuracy, and long-term service performance in demanding operating environments.

Key Features

  • Concentric reducer design for transitioning between pipe sizes
  • Maintains a common centerline throughout the piping system
  • Seamless construction for enhanced strength and reliability
  • Manufactured from ASTM A/SA234 WPB carbon steel
  • Conforms to ANSI B16.9, B16.11, and B16.28 standards through 24"
  • Dimensions larger than 24" conform to MSS-SP-48
  • Carbon content not to exceed 0.25% maximum
  • Suitable for welding into carbon steel piping systems
  • Manufactured in ISO-certified facilities
  • Mill Test Reports available with every order

Construction Details

These concentric reducers are formed from seamless carbon steel material to provide excellent mechanical strength and dependable performance in welded piping systems. The concentric design creates a smooth, gradual transition between larger and smaller pipe diameters while maintaining flow alignment.

Manufacturing processes are carefully controlled to ensure compliance with applicable ASTM, ANSI, and MSS dimensional standards while maintaining consistent wall thickness and weld preparation.

Each fitting is produced in ISO-certified facilities and may be supplied with complete material traceability documentation and Mill Test Reports.

Important Notes

Seamless butt weld fittings conform to ASTM A/SA234 WPB requirements through 24".

Dimensions conform to ANSI B16.9, B16.11, and B16.28 through 24", with larger sizes manufactured to MSS-SP-48 standards.

Review applicable piping specifications, wall thickness requirements, reducer sizing, and welding procedures prior to installation.
