Description
ABS DWV Plug W/ Gasket (MIPT)
The ABS-DWV Plug with Gasket (MIPT) is designed to securely seal cleanout openings and threaded pipe ends in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. Featuring male iron pipe threads (MIPT) and a gasket for leak resistance, this non-pressure fitting ensures a tight, reliable seal. It meets ASTM D2661, CSA B181.1, and NSF Standard 14 for quality and durability.
Not intended for transporting compressed air or gas and should not be used for pressure testing. Suitable for applications where operating temperatures do not exceed 140°F. Installations should be protected from incompatible chemicals, fire-stopping materials, and thread sealants that may damage ABS compounds.
